KAWASAKI HISTORY
The "Kawasaki" company began in 1924, the business was originally involved in metallurgy and the aircraft industry. It wasn not until 1949 that they decided to go into the motorcycle industry. In 1954 they produced their first motorcycle under the name of Meihatsu, a subsidary or Kawasaki Airfraft company.
It was around 1960 that the Kawasaki brand began to take off in the motorcycle world, due to the introduction of their 50cc scooter and 650 cc twin cylinder motorcycle.
Since this point Kawasaki has always played the role of Maverick in the motorcycle industry, keeping independent from their main competitors.
Kawasaki is now a major competitor in the motorcycle industry offering a wide range of products for all likes and needs.
